With a 3,000 person capacity, this mega-club attracts tons of trendy Spanish and international clubgoers. The clubs main speciality is Balearic house music, but some variety is offered in its line-up. It features an upstairs terrace and a huge dance floor that sprawls over multiple levels of the club.

Space

Space is a not-to-be-missed club experience, according to many Ibiza veterans. Although some different musical variations are often heard, the club has a predominately techno. The club offers a huge room downstairs for the headliners, as well as a sunset terrace where you can chill for a bit before heading back to one of the of the cheap hotels.

The Hippy Market Punta Arabi at Es Cana is a real hive of activity. Held in the grounds of the Club Punta Arabi, countless stalls huddle under the shade of the pine trees in the traditional winding paths between white bungalows. Las Dalias is a popular place, a bit like a smaller version of the Hippy Market. In San Carlos in the North-East, you’ll find this most famous of markets. Every Saturday the Las Dalias market takes place in the grounds of a restaurant.

For something more traditional, pop along to the San Miguel Artisan Market. Here, during the summer months, you can find handmade items, sold in the village square. If your child is afraid of the dark – and they’re going to be sharing your room – it’s a good idea to take a little battery operated night light to set up next to their bed. And don’t forget their favourite teddybear. That way they’ll be able to sleep soundly – and so will you!
Although a lot of hotels offer colouring books, crayons and other activities that their younger guests can enjoy quietly, they don’t take up much room in your suitcase and could be a godsend when you some time to yourself with no interruptions.

On the subject of your little ones, they can be prone to creating a mess at mealtimes, so if you’ve a small person who has a tendency to dribble, make sure you’ve packed enough extra clothing to allow for spillages.

Location – If a hotel is located out of the way then you will need to factor in the extra travel costs that you will incur. If you are not planning on eating in the hotel, you might ask for a discount. If you have children or a group with you, that breakfast can be a big money saver – depending on the cost of the room – so you might want to look for a hotel that offers breakfast.

Check out time – Different hotels have different check out times. Look into this before booking a room. You may not want to leave your room before 11am, noon or 1pm. If checkout is very early, see if you can negotiate a discount. If you get into the room very late the night before, see if you can get a later check out time. Hotels will sometimes compromise. Some hotels will also hold your luggage for you while you site see, either earlier than your check in time or later than your check out time.
