From Tung Chung to Ngong Ping village, the Ngong Ping 360 skyrail is an exciting journey. The cable car provides a 20 minute ride over 5.Experience spanning from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong City to the serene and natural green of Lantau,7 Km that offers a visually spectacular.

As the cable car heads toward Ngong Ping the massive bronze Buddha statue presents itself from atop the mountain. Travelers are only a short stroll away from the village as they get off the cable car. Ngong Ping is an amazing culturally themed mountain top village that has been architecturally designed to reflect the culture and spirituality of the Ngong Ping area. Walking with Buddha, Monkey’s Tale Theatre, and Ngong Ping Tea House are the three main attractions lie in the village.

Walking with Buddha involves going through the life of the Buddha and following how a Prince became the Buddha. The journey starts at the Palace, proceeds to the harshness of the forest and eventually ends up in the Temple where guests can pick a leaf from the Bodhi tree.
In addition the village has a gift shop that provides an opportunity to buy souvenirs for friends and family as well as a variety of dining experiences. Everything from Asian and French cuisine to Italian Gelato is on offer. At Ngong Ping village visitors can also gaze upon the magnificent Tian Tan Buddha statue and ganesh statue up close and can also visit the Po Lin Monastery.

To ride the Tung Chung Line Train from any of its stations is the easiest way to get to the cable car from your hotel in Hong Kong. Many hotels like Cosmo Hotel are located near one of these stations providing easy access. Also it is recommended that visitors should take a light coat for the cable car ride since the windows of the Gondola are left wide open due to the weather at higher altitudes.
